How Auri Works With Your Event Audio
Auri works with the audio system already being used at your event. The Auri transmitter connects to your existing event audio and broadcasts that sound wirelessly using Auracast™ broadcast audio technology.
Attendees listen through dedicated Auri receivers or compatible Auracast-enabled devices. Depending on the application, Auri can complement your existing PA, provide a dedicated accessible listening feed or deliver audio directly to an entire audience.

Auracast broadcast audio technology allows a single audio source to transmit directly to multiple compatible receivers and devices at the same time. For events, that means program audio can reach every listener directly instead of relying only on room speakers.
Auri doesn't have a built-in microphone. It's designed to take audio from your event's sound system, so presenters use the same microphones your AV team already provides. For a guide who walks with a group and speaks into a wireless mic, an Implecho tour guide system is the better fit.
Yes. The Americans with Disabilities Act requires assistive listening systems in assembly areas that use audio amplification, based on seating capacity. Auri provides app-free assistive listening with Auracast broadcast audio, and Implecho helps you plan the receiver count your venue and event require.
It depends on how you're using Auri. For a full-audience session, plan one receiver per seat plus spares. For assistive listening, the count is based on seating capacity. Implecho calculates the right number for each session and recommends a count that keeps every attendee covered.
Each Auri TX2N transmitter broadcasts over 100 meters (328 ft) in all directions, and coverage can be expanded with additional transmitters. Range varies with the environment, and personal devices such as earbuds or hearing aids may perform differently than the Auri RX1 receiver.
No. Auri receivers find the broadcast automatically. Attendees pick up a receiver, select their channel and listen.
Yes, if they're Auracast-enabled. Compatible earbuds, phones and hearing aids can join the same broadcast as an add-on to the dedicated receivers.
Yes. Each stage, theater or breakout room can run on its own channel, so attendees hear the program in front of them.
